Mocha House Carrot Cake

Presentation (4/10)
Square format. Simple. Frosting raked to provide a rolled texture. Crushed walnuts are lightly sprinkled on top. Walnuts are very light, no significant chunks. Very clean cuts. No flourishes.
Texture (2/10)
Dry. Raisins dominate texture. Very little noticed otherwise.
Frosting (2/10)
Lightly applied. Lacks any “tang” from the cream cheese. Sugar sweetness dominates flavour. Grainy.
Composition (2/10)
Falls apart due to dryness. Walnuts, raisins, and carrot all added but raisins dominate the composition, others hardly noticed. Walnuts added, but not in any significant way. Walnut chunks too small. Raisins too large and too numerous. Lacks any significant carrot aspect.
Taste (1/10)
Lacks depth of flavour. Did not taste any carrot at all. Cake lacks almost any flavour. Seems to rely entirely on the frosting for flavour.
